Treatment
Fertility problems are very common. One in six couples will or are already having fertility problems. There are two types of infertility: The primary, in which the difficulty is to conceive without an earlier pregnancy, while the secondary is when at least one of the two partners has had a child in the past.

The male factor infertility corresponds to 33% of the cases, and the female to 33% and  the remainder is considered as unidentified infertility. The couple needs to understand that infertility is a problem of the couple, not one of the two partners.

During your first visit to the clinic we take the medical history from both spouses. There is an initial assessment of the problem and with an atrial ultrasound we investigate the anatomy of the pelvis, request laboratory and imaging tests such as hormonal tests and hysterosalpingography in order to fully check the wife for any problems.

The husband should make a spermodiagramm in order to find potential problems associated with male infertility. If this is pathological, a clinical assessment follows by a specialist surgeon urologist that requests special tests, such as an ultrasound and hormone tests.
